Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to coordinate delivery across AWS’s battery energy storage systems portfolio, spanning FTM and BTM work streams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management.

Responsibilities

• Support the BESS program lead in coordinating end-to-end program delivery across FTM and BTM BESS work streams consolidating status, dependencies, and critical path items into a single source of truth.
• Establish and run program mechanisms including weekly status updates, monthly business reviews (MBR), and work stream syncs with engineering and cross-functional partners.
• Build automated reporting and KPI dashboards — capacity unlocked (MW), deployment milestones, spend tracking, and key blockers — replacing manual processes with scalable mechanisms.
• Prepare leadership-ready materials including page-zero summaries, capacity-focused drill-downs, and decision documents for VP and S-team reviews.
• Track deployment readiness across BESS programs including interconnection, permitting, site planning, and commissioning schedules.
• Partner with engineering teams to maintain awareness of technical solutions and translate decisions into program impacts.
