Job summary

Clearway Energy in Houston seeks an Associate or Senior Associate of BESS Modeling to develop quantitative models that impact major commercial decisions. You will work on BESS valuation and pricing models while enhancing the internal modeling platform, CWENQuant.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quantitative or modeling experience ideally within the energy sector for Senior Associate.
• Less than 3 years of experience for Associate role.
• Strong understanding of power market economics and asset operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy complex optimization models for BESS dispatch optimization.
• Provide analytical insights for trading activities and market advocacy.
• Analyze trading forwards to inform trading strategies.
