Nidec Energy Systems is seeking a Senior BESS Field Service Technician to support utility-scale battery energy storage systems across Texas and North America. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure safe, reliable operation of customer assets.

You will travel up to 80% to customer sites, interface with owners, and mentor junior technicians while maintaining thorough service and RMA records and promoting safety in every task.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics, Renewable Energy or related discipline preferred.
• NFPA 70E required. OSHA-10 required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License; ability to pass background check.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on utility-scale LI-ion energy storage systems.
• Lead complex field troubleshooting and mentor junior technicians.
• Support commissioning, startup, energization and performance testing.
• Develop service reports and root-cause analyses.
• Maintain safety policies and perform duties under LOTO procedures.
