Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Senior Battery Storage Technician for the Magnolia BESS site in League City, TX. The role focuses on maintenance planning, LOTO compliance, and safety procedures, with travel to client sites as required.

You will ensure outage readiness, perform advanced troubleshooting, and mentor junior technicians while coordinating with the Area Technician Lead.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or electrical program with AC/DC knowledge.
• 5+ years in BESS, solar, wind, or similar sites including maintenance.
• Willingness to travel domestically and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily maintenance and issue work permits.
• Perform and supervise LOTO activities and contractor oversight.
• Complete QEW assessments and advanced troubleshooting.
• Maintain expertise in MV systems and inverter platforms.
