Job summary
Children's National Medical Center in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Benefits Manager to design, administer and continuously improve our comprehensive benefits programs. You will lead a team, manage health, retirement, leave, and vendor relations, and partner with HR, payroll, legal and finance to ensure compliant, competitive offerings.
Strong analytical, communication and project management skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, Information Systems or related area required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- 5 years of progressive compensation and benefits experience.
- 3 years of leading teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, administer and improve comprehensive benefit programs.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of benefits including health, welfare, retirement, leave and vendor management.
- Partner with HR leadership, payroll, legal and finance to ensure seamless integration of benefits and leave processes.
- Lead process optimization, system implementation and data analysis.
- Develop communication and education strategies to improve understanding and utilization of benefits resources.
