Job summary

National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) is seeking a Benefits Program Manager to join our team. This hybrid role requires 10 in-office days per month and 20 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.

to 2 p.m., or as needed for coverage. You will oversee benefits, retirement and wellness programs, ensuring compliance with ERISA, ACA and HIPAA, collaborating with HR, Payroll and vendors.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA and HIPAA.
• Experience with retirement plans and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of competitive and cost-effective benefits programs.
• Forecast benefit costs and advise senior leadership on improvements.
• Oversee annual benefit plan renewals and open enrollment.
• Ensure COBRA and HIPAA compliance and regulatory testing.
• Manage relationships with third-party administrators and consultants.
