Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist to join the Total Rewards Global Benefits Team in Springdale, AR. The role focuses on managing H&W benefits and retirement plans, ensuring consistent application of policies, and supporting day-to-day benefits administration.

Responsibilities include coordinating annual enrollments, contributing to retirement plans, and ensuring compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3-4 years of HR experience in H&W and retirement benefits.
• Ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Strong analytical skills and expertise in Excel and HR reporting tools.
• Outstanding written and oral communications skills.
• Detailed oriented, able to multitask, meet deadlines.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Director and VP of Benefits on the development, implementation and management of all benefits and retirement programs.
• Oversight of project management for benefit initiatives.
• Assume leadership role on H&W annual enrollment coordination internally and with vendors.
• Contribute to company's defined contribution, defined benefit and deferred compensation administration and compliance.
• Develop, streamline, and document procedures for ongoing administrative tasks.
• Provide support on executing all benefit and retirement compliance requirements including annual ERISA Plan Audits and government disclosures.
