Job summary

Cambium Learning is seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst to lead the day-to-day administration of employee benefits, with primary responsibility for leave of absence (LOA) processes. The role reports to the VP, Total Rewards & People Operations and supports health and welfare programs.

Responsibilities include LOA guidance, benefits operations, vendor coordination, and employee communications. Remote-first environment with US residency required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of managing employee benefits programs, including leave of absence administration.
• Experience using Workday benefits administration for configuration, enrollment, and data integrity.
• Ability to interpret policies and provide clear guidance on benefits and LOA processes.
• Partner with third-party administrators and internal teams to resolve issues and coordinate across programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage Benefits Operations: ensure accuracy across systems, vendors, and member communications.
• Administer Leave of Absence (LOA): assess eligibility, provide guidance, coordinate with vendors.
• Translate plans and communicate with employees and managers; support open enrollment and education.
• Investigate and resolve benefits and LOA issues with stakeholders and vendors.
• Coordinate vendor interactions and seek process improvements via automation.
