Job summary

SAFY of America is seeking a Senior Benefits & Leave Administrator to join our HR team. This hands-on role manages SAFY’s benefits and leave programs, from enrollment to return-to-work, while guiding employees with clarity and compassion.

You will partner with the CHRO and brokers, administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA/FSA, and 401(k) programs, coordinate FMLA and state leave requirements, and lead open enrollment with accuracy and care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
• 5+ years progressively responsible benefits and leave administration experience.
• Experience with workers’ compensation/BWC and return‑to‑work matters.
• Knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and state leave rules.

Responsibilities

• Administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA/FSA, wellness, EAP, and 401(k).
• Manage FMLA and other leave programs from eligibility through return to work.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation, wage data, and return-to-work follow-up.
• Handle unemployment claims; prepare responses and participate in hearings as needed.
• Lead annual open enrollment and coordinate with vendors and HR systems.
