Qualifications

• Knowledge of eligibility and grant determination rules and procedures.
• Policies, procedures, and programs of the department.
• Familiarity with automated systems and software.
• Interviewing and customer service practices.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, lead or coach staff; interpret eligibility requirements and rights.
• Determine initial and ongoing eligibility; verify statements and maintain records.
• Ensure accuracy; manage workflow and meet performance objectives.
• Document data; compile and evaluate personal/financial information for eligibility.
• Prepare for regional/state reviews and audits; maintain case records and reports.
• Provide technical support to ensure policy compliance and accuracy in determinations.
