Job summary

Discovery Land Company, a U.S.-based real estate developer and private resort operator, is seeking a Senior Benefits Coordinator for its Corporate Human Resources team in Scottsdale, AZ. You will manage comprehensive benefits plans, maintain data accuracy in Workday, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting employee engagement initiatives.

You will collaborate with HR leadership, vendors, and global teams on benefits projects, open enrollment, and regulatory reporting to maintain

Qualifications

• 3+ years of benefits administration experience
• Knowledge of federal, state and local benefits regulations (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA)
• Experience with HRIS systems and benefits data accuracy

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness, retirement)
• Maintain benefits data in HRIS; ensure accuracy and compliance; Workday proficiency required
• Audit issues with HRIS operations and manage related projects
• Serve as primary contact for benefits inquiries and issue resolution
• Oversee open enrollment planning, updates, communications, and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA regulations
• Collaborate with HR leadership to review and improve benefits offerings
• Support global HR leaders on benefits-related initiatives
• Coordinate with vendors/carriers to resolve claims efficiently
• Analyze benefits utilization and provide insights to HR leadership
• Prepare compliance reports with brokers (ACA filings, Form 5500)
• Assist CHRO/VP HR in wellness and engagement program development
