Apptronik is seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist to own the day-to-day design, administration, and execution of our benefits programs — health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. This role is an individual-contributor expert focused on hands-on execution and cross-functional collaboration.

You will resolve complex plan administration issues, manage vendor and broker relationships, and ensure programs comply with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA while delivering value to employees.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of benefits/total rewards experience.
• Deep knowledge of health & welfare, retirement, and wellness plan design.
• Experience managing vendor/broker relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to measure program impact and satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills; able to advise senior stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Administer benefits plans end to end—health insurance, retirement programs, and wellness initiatives.
• Execute benefits initiatives with HR, Finance, and Legal to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
• Write and maintain policies and procedures governing benefits administration.
• Produce and manage employee-facing benefits communications (open enrollment materials, plan change notices).
• Manage vendor and broker relationships; coordinate RFPs and negotiate terms.
• Track program performance (cost, utilization, service levels) and drive improvements.
• Build reporting tools to track benefits impact and employee satisfaction over time.
• Serve as a go-to resource for benefits and HR staff on complex administration questions.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, external brokers and consultants as needed.
