Job summary

Mass General Brigham - Salem Hospital seeks a Senior Case Manager to oversee case management staff on a 30-bed inpatient senior psychiatry service. The unit serves individuals aged 55 and older with psychiatric and/or neurocognitive disorders.

The role requires a Master’s in counseling or social work, with LICSW preferred. 3–5 years in behavioral health and at least 1–2 years in supervision are desirable. Onsite work at MGB facilities, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or social work is required.
• Licensure as LICSW in MA is preferred.
• Experience supervising or leading teams in behavioral health is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee case management staff on a 30-bed inpatient senior psychiatry unit.
• Collaborate with unit leadership to meet quality goals and reduce LOS.
• Provide initial psychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare follow-up.
