Job summary

You will work with utilization review, VOB, and clinical teams to verify benefits, coordinate logistics, and track metrics to meet monthly census targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in behavioral health admissions or similar, with proven close rate.
• Strong knowledge of levels of care and insurance concepts.
• Excellent phone presence and persuasive communication.
• Proficient with CRM/EMR systems and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound calls and convert qualified leads to admissions.
• Conduct pre-admission screenings to determine appropriate care level and facility.
• Guide callers from inquiry to admission, addressing concerns and barriers.
• Coordinate admission logistics, including scheduling and handoffs to facilities.
• Explain insurance benefits and private-pay options clearly and accurately.
• Mentor admissions staff and contribute to meeting census targets.
