Job summary

YAI in New York is seeking a licensed clinician to lead behavioral and habilitative assessments, identify needs through formal and informal tools, and guide the interdisciplinary team in delivering person-centered supports.

The role develops individualized behavior support plans, trains staff, monitors data, and ensures documentation complies with OPWDD regulations, while maintaining compassionate, trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical or treatment field and training in assessment techniques.
• BCBA certification or NYSED licensure in mental health-related field.
• Ability to travel across regions and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Identify habilitative/behavioral needs via assessments and team input.
• Develop individualized behavior support plans with proactive interventions.
• Train staff on behavioral programming and data collection techniques.
• Oversee monthly data collection, reporting and documentation.
• Participate in clinical supervision and interdisciplinary meetings.
