Bio Creative Labs in Costa Mesa is seeking a Product Development Sr. Manager/Director with 10+ years in consumer beauty product development to own the lifecycle from concept to shelf.

You'll lead cross-functional teams across marketing, design, operations and suppliers, drive timelines, costing, and testing, and ensure packaging and claims meet regulatory standards while pursuing fast, game-changing product ideas.

Qualifications

• 10 years of beauty or personal care product development experience.
• Proven success launching products to retail market.
• Strong understanding of packaging, formulas, claims, and supplier management.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong taste level and speed of execution.
• Haircare and skincare experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with mass, natural, or off-price retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify trends and line extension ideas across brands and channels.
• Lead new product launches from concept to shelf across multiple brands.
• Manage timelines, sample testing, revisions, and launch readiness.
• Oversee artwork proofing, art direction, and marketing callouts and hierarchy.
• Coordinate packaging printing and vessel decoration to execute designs.
• Negotiate with vendors, manage supplier communication and production timelines.
• Ensure formulas and claims meet regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with sourcing, sales, marketing and design for fast execution.
• Explore and adopt AI tools to streamline workflows.
