Our client, a growing, dermatologist-developed skincare brand, is seeking a VP of Product Development to lead product strategy, innovation and commercialization. This senior leader will execute an established pipeline while shaping future innovation, delivering differentiated, high-performing products at an accessible price point.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year innovation roadmap and lead development from concept through launch.
• Preserve and strengthen the brand’s product philosophy, formulation standards and competitive differentiation.
• Oversee formula development, ingredient selection, claims substantiation, clinical testing, packaging and commercialization.
• Deliver launches against quality, timing, cost and margin objectives; manage development budgets and risks.
• Lead Product Development and Quality/Regulatory teams, embedding safety and compliance throughout development.
• Partner with Marketing, Operations, executive leadership and external development partners.
• Build strong relationships with contract manufacturers, laboratories and ingredient and packaging suppliers.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in skincare product development, ideally across high-growth and established beauty environments.
• Deep knowledge of formulation, ingredients, claims, clinical testing, packaging and quality/regulatory requirements.
• Proven success bringing differentiated skincare products from concept through launch and scale.
