Job summary

SBH Fashion is expanding into beauty and seeks a creative, hands-on professional to build our Beauty Division. You will fuse product development expertise with packaging and branding to deliver innovative skincare, cosmetics and related categories to major national retailers.

Collaborate with the Division Manager and internal teams to manage multiple development projects from concept through production handoff, partner with suppliers, track milestones, and present compelling buyer-ready concepts

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in the beauty industry.
• Experience in beauty product development or private-label manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of skincare, cosmetics, ingredients, formulations and packaging.
• Strong eye for branding, packaging and retail presentation.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage several projects independently.

Job description

Company is expanding into the beauty industry and seeking a creative, hands‑on professional to help build and grow our new Beauty Division. Working closely with the Division Manager, this person will combine beauty product development expertise with strong creative and packaging capabilities to bring innovative products to major national retailers.

Product Development & Innovation

• Research emerging beauty trends, ingredients, formulations, packaging and product innovations.
• Assist in developing skincare, cosmetics, beauty accessories and related categories.
• Partner with domestic and international suppliers on product development, sourcing and sampling.
• Apply working knowledge of ingredients, formulations, packaging components and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate product samples, specifications, costing and development timelines.
• Identify commercially relevant product opportunities based on retailer needs and market trends.

Creative & Packaging Development

• Help conceptualize beauty packaging, product assortments and compelling retail presentations.
• Create mood boards, trend reports, product concepts and buyer presentations.
• Collaborate with internal designers and overseas suppliers to execute packaging concepts.
• Research competitive products, retail trends and innovative packaging formats.

Project Management & Execution

• Manage multiple development projects from initial concept through production handoff.
• Coordinate with suppliers, factories and internal teams to keep projects on schedule.
• Track samples, revisions, approvals and development milestones.
• Support major retail buyer meetings and serve as a key day-to-day point person for the Beauty Division.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in the beauty industry required.
• Experience in beauty product development, packaging development or private-label manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of skincare, cosmetics, beauty ingredients, formulations and packaging.
• Strong creative eye for branding, packaging and retail presentation.
• Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop proficiency preferred.
• International supplier/manufacturer experience is a plus.
• Excellent organization, communication and ability to manage several projects independently.
• Proactive, collaborative and passionate about beauty innovation.

Salary $80,000-$110,000
