SourcePro Search, LLC seeks a Senior Business Development Manager with a strong marketing and law background to lead the Investigations and White Collar Defense practice BD efforts in New York. The candidate should have 10+ years in marketing within a law firm and at least 5 years in management, with experience supporting litigation groups.

You will develop plans, collaborate across teams, create pitches, oversee client events, and drive cross-selling initiatives to raise the firm’s profile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in marketing, law or business.
• At least 10 years of marketing professional experience.
• Experience supporting Litigation group, preferably Investigations and White Collar Defense.
• At least 5 years of management experience in a corporate law firm setting or relevant industry setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of technologies, developments, trends in legal and professional services marketing.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills, including attention to detail and proofreading.
• Solid understanding of law firm operations and corporate legal clients.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute business development and marketing plans; collaborate with partners, the BD, marketing and communications teams, and other stakeholders.
• Support the IWCD practice group’s client efforts and monitor industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to draft and produce high-quality new business pitches and proposals.
• Collaborate with the global BD team on cross-selling initiatives.
• Develop and maintain marketing materials, including practice overviews, web content, and awards/recognition.
• Evaluate, execute and manage sponsorship opportunities and partnerships to maximize ROI.
• Coordinate and prepare submissions for relevant practice awards and recognition.
• Develop and oversee client events, seminars and conferences.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications on media relations and digital initiatives.
• Contribute to department-wide efforts to improve BD processes.
