Job summary

Spear Bio seeks a top-performing Business Development Manager to promote our ultra-sensitive Immunoassays portfolio to Life Sciences and CRO markets across the Southeast U.S. A strong neurodegenerative disease research network and a deep understanding of IVD markets are essential.

You will drive revenue growth, build strategic customer relationships, and collaborate with Marketing and Assay Services to expand market adoption and funnel development. Travel 30-40% is expected.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering or related field with 4-10+ years of sales or business development experience selling ultrasensitive immunoassays or neurology IVD products.
• Clear and proactive communicator with advanced commercial sales acumen and high energy.
• Ability to ask the right questions of potential customers to demonstrate Spear Bio's differentiated technology and benefits.
• Willingness to travel up to 30-40% for customer engagement and industry events.
• Collaborates effectively within cross-functional teams including Field Applications, Assay Services, and Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales presentations to promote Spear Bio's value proposition.
• Demonstrate understanding of neuroscience market dynamics and technology adoption.
• Promote kit sales by providing instrument and assay service solutions.
• Provide funnel management input to senior Business Development Managers.
• Coordinate customer logistics, demos, information sharing, and follow-up.
