Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to lead BD and marketing strategy across multiple units, driving client development and growth. You will set direction for BD teams, introduce differentiated approaches, and ensure timely, measurable delivery to partners and clients.

You will mentor colleagues, manage pipelines, and collaborate with BD, communications, and events teams to align with business plans and ROI targets. Remote flexibility is available for this senior role.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive marketing and BD experience in professional services.
• 5+ years of management experience with Manager-level professionals.
• Proven BD planning across multi-group portfolios with measurable results.
• Ability to motivate attorneys to engage in BD plans across groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of business units with BD leadership.
• Ensure execution and accountability of BD and marketing initiatives.
• Leverage knowledge of clients and markets to shape growth strategies.
• Identify priorities from client/market data and present initiatives to leadership.
• Scale differentiated client development approaches and build repeatable playbooks.
• Set direction for thought leadership and client programming with cross‑team partners.
• Drive pipeline development and manage opportunities for high-value pursuits.
• Establish best practices, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and impact.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and mentor team members.
