Job summary

Axis Communications seeks a Manager, Business Development for Access Control & Intercoms to lead our push into the multi-family and MDU residential market from our Americas HQ in Chelmsford, MA. Remote candidates near a major airport will be considered, with ETZ hours required.

You will build a go-to-market strategy, hire and mentor a high-performing team, and drive revenue through strategic guidance on door solutions and cross-functional collaboration. 70% travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 10+ years in sales management.
• Experience selling recurring revenue or subscription-based services.
• Experience managing a virtual team.
• Knowledge of the RFP process and state contracts.
• Familiarity with a channel sales model; physical security knowledge, access control and intercom.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a go-to-market strategy for the residential market.
• Develop and sustain sales strategies with a dynamic playbook.
• Hire, develop and manage a high-performing team of Business Development Managers.
• Partner with sales teams to close large, complex deals in door solutions.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships while achieving revenue targets.
• Oversee dashboards, forecasts, and pipeline metrics.
