Job summary

Muon Space, a Silicon Valley-based space systems provider, seeks a Senior Business Development Manager for the DoD/IC portfolio. You will lead customer engagements, drive pipeline development, and oversee capture activities and proposals to win new contracts.

This role requires a proven track record in space defense markets, strong leadership, and the ability to operate across engineering, legal, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years aerospace/defense experience with 5+ years in Business Development
• Experience leading USG captures and supporting leading proposals
• Ability to build and execute plans with clear ownership and minimal oversight
• Proven success capturing DoW space business and driving growth
• Strong verbal and written communication in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Drive growth for Muon Space in DoD across near and long term horizons
• Lead customer engagement, pipeline development and capture efforts
• Lead proposals and RFIs, develop win themes and Price to Win with engineering input
• Collaborate with BD, engineering, legal and finance to pursue opportunities
• Provide input to product roadmaps from customer feedback
• Travel up to 35% as required
• Mentor teammates and manage multiple opportunities end-to-end
