Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Sr. Manager of Business Development in a hybrid role based in Grand Rapids, MI or Bellevue, WA.

You will lead Amazon BD strategy, identifying growth opportunities across emerging segments and coordinating with regional and global teams to position Dematic's solutions within new Amazon segments. You will collaborate with execution, engineering, product, and commercial teams to define and operationalize innovative business models that drive long-term growth and profitability,

Develop and execute strategies to diversify Dematic's engagement across Amazon business units.
Collaborate with regional/global stakeholders to position Dematic's solutions within new Amazon segments.
Define and operationalize new business models for long-term growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

Lead the North America business development strategy for Amazon, identifying and pursuing growth opportunities across emerging business segments and evolving customer needs.
Develop and execute strategies to diversify Dematic's engagement across Amazon business units, expanding beyond traditional fulfillment and logistics applications.
Partner with regional teams and global stakeholders to understand, align, and position Dematic's solutions within new and developing Amazon segments.
Collaborate closely with execution, engineering, product, and commercial teams to define and operationalize new business models that support long-term growth and profitability.
Identify market trends, customer priorities, and strategic initiatives that can be translated into scalable business opportunities for Dematic.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Amazon stakeholders to understand evolving requirements, investment priorities, and future opportunities.
Evaluate and develop business cases for new offerings, partnership models, and commercial approaches that create value for both Amazon and Dematic.
Drive alignment across regions and functions to ensure a coordinated strategy, consistent customer engagement, and effective sharing of best practices.
Lead opportunity development activities from concept through qualification, ensuring strategic initiatives are positioned for successful execution.
Provide regular insights and recommendations to leadership on growth opportunities, market developments, competitive dynamics, and business model innovation.
