Job summary

AppLovin seeks a driven, analytical Sr. Analyst, Business Development to join the Consumer (eCommerce & Apps) team in Beijing or Shanghai.

You will own onboarding, campaigns, and growth for a portfolio of eCommerce clients, partnering with brands to optimize performance and expand opportunities. You will work with Product, Operations, and Sales to shape our consumer advertising solution, build strong client relationships, and lead strategic initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes in

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in account management, business development, sales, performance marketing, media buying, digital strategy, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships or performance marketing campaigns with limited supervision.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and experience working with large data sets to identify actionable patterns.
• Working knowledge of DTC and eCommerce business models, including Shopify or similar commerce platforms, performance metrics, attribution, customer behavior, and campaign optimization.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and consistently follow through in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build convincing arguments from complex data.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin for daily business communication.
• Self-starter with a strong desire to learn, a collaborative mindset, and a proven interest in technology.

Responsibilities

• Own the onboarding, campaign launch, and day-to-day growth of a portfolio of eCommerce clients, educating partners on AppLovin’s Consumer growth solution.
• Develop data-backed account plans based on each partner’s business objectives, growth priorities, and performance targets.
• Launch and optimize campaigns by applying best practices across measurement, creative strategy, testing, and performance targets.
• Define and analyze key metrics, identify performance issues, and translate complex data into clear recommendations and actions.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and communicate campaign performance, product updates, and growth opportunities effectively.
• Coordinate with Product, Operations, Technical, Creative, and other Business Development teams to resolve account issues and execute growth initiatives.
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and independently lead routine commercial discussions, escalating complex negotiations when appropriate.
• Share learnings and best practices across the regional Business Development team.
