Job summary

Axis for Autism is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead a team of supervisors, BCaBAs, and RBTs in delivering ABA-based treatment plans. You will oversee FBAs, develop programs, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality client care across clinic, school, home, and community settings.

You will train and mentor clinical staff, ensure treatment fidelity, and collaborate with operations and clinical teams to maintain quality of care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education or related field.
• BCBA certification and in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• At least two years of related professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in ABA.
• Experience training staff in behavioral principles and procedures.
• Must have technical knowledge to navigate software systems and record information.
• Maintain professional boundaries, composure and confidentiality at all times.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and other appropriate individuals.
• Be flexible and capable of problem solving in varying situations.
• Analytical skills to synthesize clinical and social data for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Dedicated to evidence-based treatment and ethical practice.
• Serve culturally and linguistically diverse families across SES backgrounds.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and insured transportation in AZ.
• Demonstrate competence in behavior management, instruction, written communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments including FBA and curricular assessments and onboard new clients.
• Develop initial and ongoing treatment plans with regular modifications.
• Create treatment protocols and behavior support plans.
• Provide face-to-face supervision for assigned clients.
• Communicate regularly with parents to support the client’s treatment goals.
• Review treatment plans with Clinical Director and address barriers to progress.
• Supervise a team of assistants and technicians with ongoing training and performance evaluations.
• Conduct parent training to ensure fidelity and generalization of skills.
• Help develop leadership skills within the team.
• Ensure compliant medical record documentation according to procedures.
• Provide supervision to clinicians pursuing certification.
• Uphold BACB Ethical Code and HIPAA policies.
• Stay current with literature and resources; perform other duties as assigned.
