A leading aerospace manufacturer located in Wisconsin is seeking a Sr. BAW Filter Design Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will design BAW filters from concept through production and will optimize designs for performance metrics. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in RF filter design with a focus on BAW or SAW.
Experience with spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, and network analyzers.
Familiarity with MEMS fabrication processes for BAW filters.
Responsibilities
Design and develop BAW filters from concept to production.
Perform advanced EM simulations to model BAW filter performance.
Develop test plans and validate filter performance using RF measurement tools.
Skills
EM simulation tools (e.g. HFSS, CST, ADS, or COMSOL)
Experience with radio test and measurement equipment
Scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
Education
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline
Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering
