Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer located in Wisconsin is seeking a Sr. BAW Filter Design Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will design BAW filters from concept through production and will optimize designs for performance metrics. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in RF filter design. Experience with simulation tools and measurement equipment is essential. This role requires the ability to work extended hours and comply with U.S. Government regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in RF filter design with a focus on BAW or SAW.
• Experience with spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, and network analyzers.
• Familiarity with MEMS fabrication processes for BAW filters.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop BAW filters from concept to production.
• Perform advanced EM simulations to model BAW filter performance.
• Develop test plans and validate filter performance using RF measurement tools.

Skills

EM simulation tools (e.g. HFSS, CST, ADS, or COMSOL)

Experience with radio test and measurement equipment

Scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB)

Education

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline

Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering
