Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a senior battery engineering professional to accelerate development timelines and validate battery cells, modules, and packs. You will design tests, tooling, and data workflows that drive informed system-level decisions across MIL/SIL/HIL frameworks.

You will collaborate with Battery Systems and Development Test engineers, applying industrial experience in battery management and data-driven analysis to compress timelines while preserving quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering discipline, ideally with emphasis in battery development
• 7+ years of professional experience in a related engineering field
• Experience in an immersive interdisciplinary technical project
• Demonstrated validation of battery cells and modules/packs against system requirements
• Capability to compress timelines without sacrificing product quality by prioritization
• Experience in hardware automation and software-hardware integration
• Proficiency in Python or Matlab to process large data files into plots, summaries, metrics
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Enable accelerated battery development timelines by reducing risks at the cell, module, and pack level
• Support Battery System Engineers with common test procedures across cell/module/pack levels
• Design tools/protocols to document test procedures and results efficiently
• Write data processing scripts to generate plots/outputs for system-level decisions
• Based on BMS/algorithm requirements, design MIL/SIL/HIL test procedures
• Support validation of BMS algorithms including SOC, SOH, SOP, fault handling
• Collaborate to characterize battery cell models and deploy to HILs or simulations
