Job summary

Anduril is seeking a Battery Systems Engineer to accelerate development timelines across cell, module, and pack testing. You will help standardize test procedures, build data pipelines, and support BMS algorithm validation, including SOC, SOH, and HVIL controls.

The role requires a strong background in battery development, 7+ years in engineering, and experience with MIL/SIL/HIL methods. A U.S. security clearance eligibility is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, battery development preferred.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience on interdisciplinary technical projects.
• Validation of battery cells/modules against requirements.
• Ability to compress timelines while maintaining quality.
• Experience in hardware automation and hardware-software integration.
• Proficient with Python or MATLAB for data processing and visualization.
• Eligible for an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Enable accelerated battery development timelines by mitigating risks.
• Support engineers with test procedures at cell, module, and pack levels.
• Design tools to document test procedures and results efficiently.
• Develop data processing scripts to produce plots and metrics.
• Create MIL/SIL/HIL test procedures based on BMS/algorithm needs.
• Validate BMS algorithms including SOC, SOH, SOP, HVIL, etc.
• Collaborate to model cell equivalent circuits for HIL or simulations.
