Talisman is seeking a Senior Associate to focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Modeling & Structuring within its quantitative analytics team in the United States. You will craft advanced models for dispatch optimization, forecasts across DA/RT/Ancillary Services, and structured product pricing.

Strong background in quantitative modeling, ML, and energy markets is required; advanced degrees preferred and experience with BESS/renewables is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quantitative modeling experience.
• Experience with optimization tools (Gurobi, CPLEX, PuLP, etc.).
• Machine learning/deep learning experience (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras).
• Knowledge of stochastic modeling and forecasting.
• Understanding of wholesale power markets (ERCOT, CAISO, or other ISOs).
• Experience with BESS, renewables, or conventional generation is highly preferred.
