Job summary

Data Surge seeks a Batch Cycle Manager to ensure successful execution, monitoring, and optimization of enterprise batch processing. You will design and manage batch cycles, coordinate dependencies across teams, monitor performance, and provide proactive issue resolution to guarantee timely processing.

This role supports payroll cycles, disaster recovery testing, mock cutovers, and go-live activities. Candidates should have hands-on batch scheduling experience and strong cross-functional

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling and managing batch cycles.
• Ability to coordinate across technical, functional, interface, and business teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with batch processing performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Set up batch cycle calls with Internal, Client, Interface, and Functional teams; send daily minutes to management.
• Review default batch parameters and tune as needed.
• Conduct performance reviews of batch jobs.
• Perform daily batch cycle reviews using generated reports.
• Execute end-to-end batch cycle reviews.
• Implement batch cycle changes via GCS.
• Provide pre-Go Live DR testing support for batch cycles.
• Assist in maintaining the Event Tracker.
• Define job status classifications (Green/Orange/Red) based on return codes.
• Design and configure batch cycles (Daily, Monthly).
• Coordinate interface dependencies with batch cycles.
