Job summary

Jobot is growing its Building Automation team in the Denver market and seeks a hands-on BAS Programmer who can work in the field while supporting projects from the office. You will program, configure, and commission BAS/DDC systems and build graphics for end users.

The role collaborates with Project Managers, engineers, and field teams to bring building systems to life, with opportunities to work onsite at customer sites and in the office. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience programming and commissioning BAS/DDC systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC controls and building operations.
• Experience integrating third‑party equipment using BACnet/Modbus/LON.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and commission BAS/DDC systems based on project sequences and contract documents.
• Build out system graphics and user interfaces that give end users clear visibility into their building systems.
• Integrate third‑party equipment and systems using BACnet, Modbus, LON, and other protocols.
• Support projects through startup, commissioning, and turnover—both remotely and onsite.
• Work directly with Project Managers, engineers, and customers to ensure systems are delivered as designed.
• Participate in jobsite walkthroughs, commissioning activities, and customer demonstrations/training.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during installation and startup phases.
• Maintain organized project documentation, including backups, as‑builts, and closeout materials.
• Provide updates on project progress and support overall project delivery timelines and goals.
