Job summary

Automated Logic, a Carrier company, is seeking an Associate Field Engineer to lead field commissioning of building automation systems and mentor junior engineers on complex projects.

You will work on-site with project teams, own customer communications, and ensure precise installation, testing, and documentation of Direct Digital Control solutions. This role offers competitive pay, benefits, and clear paths for career growth within Carrier's BAS organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Associate degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Controls, or related field.
• Proficient with advanced building automation software, such as WebCTRL, and installing building automation controls.
• Ability to navigate and integrate into a variety of building automation systems.
• Expert with TCP/IP networks including wireless technology.
• Experience interacting with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines.
• Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems that utilize advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
• Mentor and develop less experienced Field Engineers on all field tools and technology.
• Serve as local contact for technical issues.
• Provide turnkey project delivery on medium to large projects.
• Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports.
• Provide site-specific training to owners/operators on the complete system.
