Job summary

Automated Logic, a Carrier Company, is seeking a Master Field Technician in Canton, MA to lead commissioning and optimization of advanced BAS for HVAC, lighting, and energy systems. You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, mentor junior techs, and collaborate with engineers and PMs to ensure field performance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years in Building Automation or related field; preferred Bachelor/Associate in HVAC or controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 5+ years in Building Automation, HVAC, or technical field preferred.
• Bachelor’s/Associate degree or diploma in HVAC, Controls, or related field preferred.
• Proficient with building automation software (WebCTRL) and able to install/commission controls.
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge; ability to integrate multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and optimization of advanced BAS for HVAC, lighting, and energy systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and integration issues across platforms (WebCTRL, Niagara, Schneider, Honeywell).
• Integrate third‑party systems using BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks.
• Configure controls, trends, alarms, and reports; mentor junior technicians; deliver customer training.
