Job summary

LONG Building Technologies in Boise, Idaho seeks a Controls Service Technician II to troubleshoot and program temperature control systems, perform emergency and preventive maintenance, and support FDD-based services. You will mentor junior technicians and advise customers on solutions in a team environment.

Pay ranges $33–$40 per hour with a sign-on bonus up to $3,500 and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field operations experience.
• Associates degree in computer/electronic technical and 1 year of temperature control startup, checkout, and service experience or 3-5 years temperature control startup, checkout, and service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspections and assessments of control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and software updates to minimize failures.
• Troubleshoot and implement solutions for system issues.
• Communicate with customers to guide and resolve technical inquiries.
• Instruct customers on operation and maintenance of temperature control systems.
