You’ll lead by example, train new baristas, uphold safety and hygiene standards, and help maintain a clean, inviting cafe that supports the store’s bookselling mission.

Qualifications

• Maintain cheerful, customer-focused service and a helpful attitude.
• Ability to train or mentor new baristas and support staff.
• Demonstrate reliability with attendance and scheduling flexibility.
• Willingness to learn and grow in café and bookselling duties.

Responsibilities

• Master drink making and food preparation following recipes and standards.
• Run efficient registers and assist other baristas to serve customers quickly.
• Maintain clean, organized cafe with proper hygiene and safety practices.
• Support the bookfloor team and assist with deliveries and merchandising.
• Demonstrate loss prevention awareness and escalate issues as needed.
