Job summary

Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Inc. is seeking a Barista to join our busy café team. You will greet customers, prepare beverages and baked goods, stock deliveries, and keep the café inviting and clean throughout the shift.

You will learn our drink recipes, operate the register efficiently, and support store merchandising and promotions while providing exceptional customer service. Growth to Senior Barista is available as you build skills.

• Flexible to fill scheduling gaps across early mornings to late evenings

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide cheerful, helpful service
• Unpack deliveries and stock café and bake area
• Maintain café presentation and cleanliness
• Operate registers and assist customers quickly and professionally
• Support bookfloor team and broader store operations as needed
• Follow FIFO practices and ensure correct dating of products
• Support promotions and café merchandising to drive sales
• Adhere to café safety and hygiene guidelines
