Job summary

The Corner Store at MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks a Senior Bar Manager to lead the beverage program with style and energy. You will guide the team, shape guest experiences, and ensure operations align with MGM's elevated service standards.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in hospitality, solid budgeting know-how, and the ability to mentor staff. You will manage scheduling, cost controls, union relationships, and drive a high-volume, luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of prior relevant hospitality leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Culinary Union bargaining agreement.
• Understanding of F&B costs, budgeting, P&L, labor and entertainment costs.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Able to lead and mentor a team.
• Strong beverage knowledge and presentation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for operational functions of The Corner Store.
• Input into development of new products, services, and processes.
• Manage cost controls, budgeting reports, and scheduling.
• Motivate Employees and foster engagement and development.
• Coach and provide feedback to team members.
• Monitor ratings on social platforms and adapt strategies.
• Lead HR functions including talent management and compliance.
• Maintain relations with unions and ensure policy compliance.
• Resolve escalated customer/vendor issues.
• Direct staffing and scheduling for the team.
