Alyeska Resort is seeking a Director of Banquets to lead a dynamic, high‑volume events operation in Girdwood, Alaska. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive Banquets, Catering, Events, or Food & Beverage leadership.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily banquet, catering, and event operations with visible leadership during setup, service, and breakdown.
• Oversee conferences, weddings, and resort‑wide activations ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
• Collaborate with Culinary to ensure menu execution, timing, and presentation meet standards.
• Develop staffing models, SOPs, and systems for high‑volume events.
• Manage budgets, labor forecasts, and KPIs to maximize profitability.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing Banquets team and build cross‑functional partnerships.
