Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in banquet or food & beverage leadership.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison with the Director of Catering and step in as acting Director of Banquets in the Director’s absence.
• Verify and post banquet charges; assist Billing Manager with issues.
• Delineate Banquet & Catering Service Charges from reports; payroll processing.
• Enter Consumption on Theoretical Pour Reports; compare with POS and billing reports.
• Communicate with the Director on concerns, emails, purchasing requests, and staffing issues.
• Keep the BEO Master Book updated and organized daily.
• Instill calm, organized leadership in stressful situations.
• Understand guest needs and accommodate them accordingly.
• Provide excellent guest service with eye contact, greetings, name usage, and thanks.
• Schedule efficiently to meet business demands; coordinate staffing with HR.
• Promote morale; coach and discipline staff as needed.
• Assess and improve service protocols and training activities.
• Ensure sanitation, hygiene, and proper handling of items.
