Job summary

Encore Boston Harbor is seeking a Manager - Catering & Banquets to oversee daily group dining operations, staffing, inventory, guest service and execution of Food & Beverage to Encore standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in full-service restaurant or group dining, 3 years in a leadership role, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Fluent English required; experience with Delphi, POS systems and project planning is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-service restaurant or group dining experience.
• 3 years in a leadership role preferred.
• Fluency in English required; second language a plus.
• Experience with planning and project management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Encore standards and department policies are applied.
• Manage short- and long-term goals, staffing, and scheduling.
• Oversee hiring, performance management, and staff engagement.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain high satisfaction.
• Coordinate interdepartmental communication and meetings.
• Promote safe and ethical relations with staff and contractors.
• Lead staff briefings on service flow and VIP arrangements.
