Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, and related commercial litigation.
• Experience handling sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including Chapter 11 and Chapter 7.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
• Ability to manage complex matters with substantial individual responsibility.
• Proven experience working with clients and developing case strategy.
• Admission to the New York Bar is required.
• Portable book valued around $500k is highly valued, but a smaller book may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Represent Chapter 11 debtors, trustees, secured lenders, and other stakeholders in complex matters.
• Lead case strategy and client communications for high-stakes matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and plan confirmations; manage negotiations.
• Advise on pre-bankruptcy planning, workouts, and related litigation.
• Handle insolvency proceedings including SIPA and related disputes.
