A leading international law firm is seeking a talented 3rd-5th year Associate to join its highly regarded Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring practice in New York. The successful candidate will have significant restructuring experience, including Chapter 11 proceedings, representing debtors, creditors and official committees of unsecured creditors across all stages of complex corporate restructurings and bankruptcy matters. Strong experience with bankruptcy court practice, including drafting and arguing motions, participating in hearings and managing contested matters is essential.
The team handles a sophisticated and diverse range of high-stakes restructuring and insolvency matters, including Chapter 11 reorganisations, out-of-court workouts, liquidations, mass torts, receiverships, restructured credits and securitisations, security enforcement actions, corporate investigations and insolvency-related litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious associate to gain substantial hands-on responsibility, work closely with senior lawyers and develop their expertise on sophisticated matters while managing multiple significant engagements within a highly collaborative environment.
