Job summary

Jobot in Florida seeks a highly accomplished Bankruptcy Partner to join our nationally recognized Business Reorganization Team. This role focuses on expanding the firm’s bankruptcy practice, managing sophisticated client matters, and driving business development.

The ideal candidate will have significant Chapter 11 restructuring experience, a portable book of business, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset to grow the practice regionally and nationally.

Qualifications

• J.D. and Florida Bar admission required.
• 8+ years of bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency experience.
• Portable book of business strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex bankruptcy and restructuring engagements, including Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court workouts.
• Represent debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, committees, lenders, and trustees in insolvency matters.
• Advise clients on distressed asset acquisitions, liquidations, and reorganizations.
• Provide strategic counsel on creditors’ rights, financial restructurings, and bankruptcy litigation.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships while contributing to business development.
• Mentor and supervise associates and contribute to team growth.
