Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly accomplished Bankruptcy Partner to join our nationally recognized Business Reorganization Team in Florida. This role targets an entrepreneurial attorney with significant experience handling complex Chapter 11 restructurings, insolvency matters, creditors’ rights, and distressed asset transactions.

The partner will expand the practice, manage sophisticated client matters, and drive business development.

Qualifications

• J.D. from accredited law school and Florida Bar admission.
• 8+ years in bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency law.
• Portable book of business strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage complex matters and client relationships independently.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with collaborative growth approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex bankruptcy and restructuring engagements, including Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court workouts.
• Represent debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, committees, lenders, and trustees in insolvency matters.
• Advise clients on distressed asset acquisitions, liquidations, and reorganizations.
• Provide strategic counsel on creditors’ rights, financial restructurings, and bankruptcy litigation.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships, while actively contributing to the firm’s business development efforts.
• Mentor and supervise associates and contribute to team growth.
