Job summary

Jobot is seeking a disciplined attorney with a strong background in bankruptcy and commercial law to join our North Carolina team in Raleigh. The role focuses on representing debtors and creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 12 matters, with emphasis on complex restructurings and related litigation.

The candidate should hold a JD from an ABA-accredited school and a JD/attorney license in North Carolina or be willing to obtain admission. A minimum of four years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from ABA-accredited law school with emphasis in bankruptcy or litigation.
• Admitted to practice in North Carolina or willing to obtain admission.
• Minimum four years of legal experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent debtors and creditors in corporate restructurings, workouts, and bankruptcy proceedings.
• Handle discovery from start to finish and draft pleadings and briefs.
• Research developments in bankruptcy law and related regulations.
• Support mass tort bankruptcy team and related litigation.
