Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate to join its team in the New York office. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of bankruptcy, restructuring, or insolvency experience at a law firm, with Chapter 11 matters and bankruptcy court proceedings.

Expect substantial client contact and work directly with senior partners on high-profile engagements. You will draft pleadings and filings, participate in hearings, and advise clients on various restructuring strategies while

Qualifications

3–5 years of bankruptcy, restructuring, or insolvency experience at a law firm.
Experience with Chapter 11 matters and bankruptcy court proceedings.
Strong legal writing, analytical and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in Chapter 11 reorganizations, restructurings, and related insolvency proceedings.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and filings.
Participate in court appearances, hearings, negotiations, and case strategy.
Advise clients on restructuring alternatives, distressed transactions, and insolvency-related issues.
Manage multiple matters while collaborating with attorneys across practice groups.
Conduct legal research and prepare strategic recommendations for clients.
