Job summary

Amerant Bank NA is seeking a Banking Specialist IV in Weston, FL to support teller and platform transactions, manage lobby activity, and promote digital banking solutions. You will educate customers on consumer and small business products and collaborate with teammates to meet service standards.

You will contribute to risk management, ensure compliance with BSA/OFAC, and participate in community banking initiatives.

Qualifications

• Banking Specialist IV requires over 5 years’ experience in Bank sales / service environment or equivalent experience to include sales results.
• High School or GED required. AA or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• English required, and certain markets may require second language skills.

Responsibilities

• Process all financial transaction requests including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, cashier's checks.
• Research and resolve issues related to end of day banking center balancing.
• Open new accounts and perform maintenance transactions on the Bank's platform system, including debit card issuance and KYC requirements.
• Review customer account activity to ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and regulations.
• Acquire, retain and expand customer relationships by profiling needs and selling banking products.
