Western Alliance Bank in CityScape is seeking a Senior Banking Operations Manager to lead operations teams and ensure client experience and performance. You will drive the team charter, develop talent, oversee risk controls, and guide enterprise projects through to completion.

You will mentor leaders, ensure regulatory compliance, monitor vendors, and push process improvements while maintaining strong governance and operational discipline.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Banking Operations or similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Leadership experience in a matrixed organization.
• Advanced knowledge of banking operations, deposits, treasury, and related services.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, risk and legal obligations.
• Experience with tax reporting, audits and governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations team(s) and ensure client experience and performance.
• Develop team charter/responsibilities aligned with growth.
• Coach leaders in prioritization and timely execution.
• Provide risk oversight and implement policy changes.
• Monitor vendor performance and incident escalation.
