Job summary

FNBC Bank & Trust in West Chicago, IL is seeking an Operations Supervisor to assist the SVP, Retail Banking & Operations, COO, and CFO with day-to-day supervision and support of bank operations, including Deposit, Loan and CIS. The role ensures compliance with bank policies and state/federal regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in bank ops, strong project management, and experience with FIS, Connections and FedLine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in bank operations or related field.
• Project management skills.
• Strong proficiency in bank operations and knowledge of FIS, BIC reporting and Connections reports.
• Experience with FedLine and accounts payable software.
• Familiarity with IT technologies and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Operations department.
• Delegate tasks and monitor department workflow.
• Hire, train, and supervise Operations staff, ensuring appropriate staffing and performance evaluations.
• Develop, implement and maintain policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide customer service and support to staff as needed.
• Assist the department head with reports and special projects.
• Handle complex issues in Deposit, Loan, CIS, Accounting Operations, and Teller Operations.
